Spoilers. Everything on this list literally happens.
Sometimes I go a little overboard at the library. Sometimes I go overboard, and I am swimming, drowning, through all the pages I have to read before the books need to be returned. This. Is. Not. One. Of. Those. Times. I promise. I am going to make sweet, sweet, bibliophile love to these books. Sit back and enjoy my freaking ah-mazing #bookstagram attempt.
Note to self: shiny, library book covers are horrible for #bookstagram. You should be #ashamedagram.
Pebble For Your Thoughts
A Taylor Swift/Tom Hiddleston FanFiction
Taylor was radiating perfection. It was the perfection Tom wanted. She knew what he wanted–a blonde with a pair of doe eyes. They always wanted doe eyes, so big they could pop ’em out and make a keepsake. She gave him the smile. He was happy. The sun was out. The waves were calm. The rocks were cool, and she was warm. Everything was pure light.
“Alright, alright, alright,” said Matthew McConaughey as he polished his Oscar. “It’s time to review A Court of Mist and Fury.” Matthew placed the statue on the mantel, the gold reflecting in his eyes, and leapt through the open window into the tumultuous waves. He swam many leagues to pass on these vital instructions, and it is now time to crack open a little known book, ACOMAF. Crack it open like an egg on Easter morning, like Rhys crackin’ open Feyre’s ol’ noggin, like a…butt crack.
Matthew surfaces on the beach, “Y’all better understand that this post has spoilers. If you don’t heed my warning, it’s on you.”
Okay, enough chit-chat. I’ve broken this review into three parts in ode to the Bard, Sarah J Maas. (This series is a trilogy, right?)
Some of you might be familiar with my booktube channel. LizLovesLiterature. Actually, I am going to guess that is how all of you ended up on this second rate book blog. Welcome! This is a safe place to talk shit about books. Or maybe love books a little too much. I have no allegiance to one genre. Though, I tend to enjoy fantasy a little more. I fell into the dark vortex of YA fantasy a few months ago, and I have not been able to get out since. I also love thrillers as long as there is a lot of blood.
I have been booktubing for over two years. I’ve loved the people I have met through it, but I have not felt myself in front of the camera in a very long time. I take that back, I have never felt myself in front of the camera. I convey my thoughts and humor a lot easier through the written word, so book blogging felt like the natural progression. The problem is that I have never read book blogs, and I have never been apart of the book blogging community. I am shit at making friends, so please leave me your blogs in the comments. If you have any advise on how to blog, or want to let me know I’m doing something shit wrong, please do. (Okay pricks, this is not an open invitation to yell at me in caps. TWO CAN PLAY THAT GAME MOTHERFUCKERR.) Did I tell you I was bad at making friends? This blog will probably look like shit for awhile, the last time I did anything similar to this was Myspace, so stick to tumblr if your thing is aesthetics.
This blog will not be used solely for reviews. I do have a few ideas up my sleeve. So strap in tight, guys. This is going to be a hot ride through hell!
